Korat Private School Fair
We always love a chance to get out and meet people in the community. The Korat Private School fair is a great way for folks to get out and ask questions about what is happening in the world of Korat Education. With many schools geared towards teaching young kids, AUA Korat still holds a special place in a niche market teaching adults. We did really feel like we stood out from the crowd. But it was also a great way to see what all the other schools are doing and to steal any cool ideas. Overall, what was impressive was the fact that education is now at the forefront of people's mind. There are private language schools and junior kindergarten classes such as Pluk Panya sprouting up everywhere. Who said competition was a bad thing. The upside is that there wouldn't be any supply if there weren't any demand. So English is hip and cool these days. Not only that, English can help you improve and broaden your horizons for the future. Maybe a nice high paying job abroad or right here in Thailand at an international company. A good way to meet foreigners and practice English in Korat is by participating on their forums.
As to me I'm retired from teaching but I will be open to any comments on my forum and answer them:

That doesn't mean Thais using English, German or Dutch were not welcome to contribute knowledge about Korat and advice to people wanting to know about Korat.
